A roundtable meeting between the Uzbekistani president and Chinese entrepreneurs was held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center during the China-Central Asia Summit on May 19. 

At the roundtable, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the president of Uzbekistan, and Chinese Vice-Premier He Lifeng, discussed with representatives of Chinese enterprises. Liu Jingzhen, secretary of the CPC China National Pharmaceutical Group Co Ltd (Sinopharm) Committee and chairman of Sinopharm, was invited to attend the meeting.

2023 marks the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. In the past ten years, Sinopharm has adhered to people-oriented and life-oriented principles, upheld the corporate philosophy of "all for health, health for all" and promoted the construction of the Health Silk Road. 

Its practical cooperation with Central Asian countries such as Uzbekistan has been fruitful, especially in health products, the import and export of chemical pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical raw materials and equipment cooperation. 

Sinopharm will deepen its cooperation with Uzbekistan and contribute its strength to enhance the health and well-being of the people in both countries.
