Sinopharm Chongqing Southwest Aluminum Hospital, established in 1967, was integrated into China National Pharmaceutical Group Co Ltd (Sinopharm) in March 2019. It stands as a comprehensive Class-II Grade-A hospital with over 50 years of history of serving the regions west of Chongqing's Jiulongpo district. 

The hospital has evolved to encompass medical, research, teaching, emergency care, prevention, and healthcare functions, earning accolades such as "Baby-friendly Hospital" and "Safe Hospital". 

Over the years, the hospital has upheld the motto of "diligence, dedication, benevolence and beneficence", adhered to the principle of "caring for life with genuine emotions and safeguarding health with responsibility", and embraced the service philosophy of "patience, attentiveness, kindness and concern". It has continually refined its service flow, elevated medical quality, and ensured healthcare safety. 

The hospital has been committed to realizing its developmental vision of establishing a modern management system and creating a comprehensive tertiary hospital. It has played a vital role in contributing to the health of the people in Jiulongpo district’s Xipeng town and surrounding areas. 

In recognition of its efforts, the hospital was honored with the title of Model Unit by Chongqing municipality in 2021. It has integrated the principles of a model unit into its daily operations. Its initiatives included formulating a staff civilization handbook, conducting training for civilized manners, and implementing related signboards and bulletin boards throughout the facility.
