Lanzhou Institute of Biological Products Co Ltd, established in 1934, is one of China's oldest and most esteemed research institutions in the field of biological products. 

Serving as a key State-owned enterprise integrating research, development, production and sale of biological products, it has garnered numerous accolades over the years and solidified its position as a national high-tech firm and a national technology innovation demonstration enterprise. 

It is also a company approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee for granting master's degrees and has established a postdoctoral workstation accredited by the reconstructed Ministry of Personnel. 

In recent years, the company has received prestigious awards such as the national May Day labor certificate and outstanding contribution award for advanced enterprises. It has also earned the title of advanced grassroots Party organization of centrally-administrated State-owned enterprises.

Since 2010, it has been recognized as an advanced unit in spiritual civilization construction in Gansu province, and since 2012, it has held the title of a model unit in Gansu province. 

Demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility, the company annually allocates 1 million yuan ($140,000) of assistance funds, contributing to the poverty alleviation of four villages in counties of Zhouqu and Longxi in Gansu. 

Engaging in impactful public welfare activities such as blood donations and assistance for disabled and left-behind children, the company has showcased its dedication to social welfare. 

Additionally, it played an active role in COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control. In 2022, 20 volunteers were dispatched to the frontlines in Beijing and Lhasa, exemplifying its commitment to public health. Furthermore, four employees were sent to the United Arab Emirates as part of CNBG's overseas assistance project.
