China National Pharmaceutical Group Co Ltd (Sinopharm), a flagship player in the pharmaceutical industry and a key contributor to building a global community of health for all, demonstrated a strong commitment to the sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE), which opened in Shanghai on Nov 5.
For the sixth consecutive session, the company invited foreign participants to exhibit and organized delegations to engage in procurement and exhibition activities.
Sinopharm’s trade delegation at the event was led by Deputy General Manager and Spokesman Jin Bin, with over 50 enterprises at various levels represented by more than 500 attendees.
The signing ceremony of Sinopharm’s agreements with its partners took place on Nov 7. This year, the company continued to expand collaborations with foreign partners, signing 21 procurement agreements with leading medical equipment and dietary supplement companies from the United States, Germany, Canada, Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands and other nations. The number of signed agreements increased by 30 percent to a record high.
Notably, breakthroughs were made in the contract volume in key areas such as high-end medical equipment manufacturing, medical devices and imported dietary supplements, contributing to a continuous rise in the total amount of contracts. This achievement not only maintained stability but also achieved an upward trend, once again breaking historical records.
Sinopharm consistently stood out in import agreements in the pharmaceutical and medical equipment sectors, showcasing the domestic pharmaceutical industry's development opportunities and leading the way towards a more open, inclusive, beneficial, balanced and win-win development.
