Lourenco conveyed his appreciation to Sinopharm for its assistance in Angola's efforts to combat the pandemic. He introduced the information and development of Angola's medical and health system, emphasizing the government's commitment to enhancing public healthcare and improving the well-being of its citizens. Lourenco expressed his desire to deepen comprehensive cooperation with Sinopharm, leveraging its robust scientific research, production and international operational capabilities alongside Angola's extensive market resources to explore broader avenues of collaboration.

In response, Liu expressed gratitude to Lourenco and the Angolan Ministry of Health for their unwavering trust and support for Sinopharm. He outlined Sinopharm's contributions during the pandemic and its strategic endeavors encompassing pharmaceutical research and development, production and manufacturing across the entire lifecycle, industry chain and ecological circle. Emphasizing Sinopharm's commitment, Liu affirmed the company's willingness to strengthen ties with various sectors in Angola. He proposed conducting comprehensive research and field visits in the medical and health domain, offering Sinopharm's integrated expertise and experience to benefit the people of Angola and advance the nation's medical and health sector.

The meeting was attended by Angola's Health Minister Silvia Lutucuta, along with other relevant government officials, representatives from China Sinopharm International Cooperation, and pertinent departments of the group's headquarters.
