Bai welcomed Jones and his delegation, highlighting the fruitful partnership between Sinopharm and RX since the establishment of their joint venture, Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions, in 2005. Over the past two decades, their mutual trust has laid a solid foundation for long-term cooperation.
Bai shared Sinopharm’s recent progress in reform and development, noting the growing demand in China’s pharmaceutical and healthcare industry driven by rising public health awareness and an aging population. With innovation capabilities steadily improving, the industry outlook remains highly promising, Bai said.
He emphasized that Sinopharm is accelerating its expansion across the entire pharmaceutical industrial chain to drive innovation in the healthcare sector.
Recognizing RX as a global leader in exhibition and conference organization, with an extensive international network and expertise in digital services, Bai expressed his hope for deeper collaboration. He called for joint efforts to integrate resources and leverage strengths to deepen practical cooperation in areas such as digital empowerment, investment coordination, industrial innovation and support for the silver economy.
Jones reaffirmed the strategic importance of Sinopharm as a global partner for RX. He said he was impressed by the group’s achievements across the pharmaceutical industrial chain, adding that attending CMEF and engaging with Sinopharm were key highlights of his trip to China.
