A group of 16 journalists from 13 countries, brought together by the China International Press Communication Center Asia-Pacific Journalist Program, recently visited China Sinopharm International Corporation. The trip aimed to gain firsthand insights into Sinopharm's strategic international operations.

Liu Yutong, counsellor of the Department of Press, Communication and Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Yang Yang, director of the International Cooperation Department of Sinopharm; and Zhang Haoji, deputy general manager of Sinopharm International, held a discussion with the visiting journalists.

The journalists toured various facilities, including Sinopharm's exhibition hall, the Chinese medicine museum and the ophthalmology center. They were impressed by the group's development journey and praised the company's responsibility in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. The journalists also expressed keen interest in China's "medicine-food homology" health preservation approach.
