Tongtian Oral Liquid, a Chinese medicine developed by Sinopharm’s Taiji Group Chongqing Fuling Pharmaceutical Co Ltd, has recently received market authorization from Health Canada as a Natural Health Product. The remedy is indicated for promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, dispelling pathogenic wind and relieving pain, and is recommended for conditions such as migraines. 

This marks the seventh product from Chongqing Taiji Industry (Group) Co Ltd to receive market access in Canada, following the approvals of other well-known formulations including Huoxiang Zhengqi Oral Liquid and Danshen Oral Liquid. 

Tongtian Oral Liquid traces its origins to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). It was innovatively reformulated in 1993 by renowned traditional Chinese medicine expert Ling Yikui and later approved in 1998 as a national category III new drug under the current name "Tongtian Oral Liquid". 

The product has already secured registration approvals in Singapore and Malaysia. Owing to its recognized therapeutic effects, it is now available in TCM pharmacies, clinics and hospitals in both countries. 

Tongtian Oral Liquid continues to expand its international presence, having been showcased at major global events such as the China International Fair for Trade in Services, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum on Traditional Medicine and the ASEAN Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
